Early reports show that the film crossed the ₹50 crore mark on its opening day, with its strong advance bookings and massive fan following driving collections. Trade reports initially suggested that the film was racing towards a possible ₹100 crore worldwide opening, although the final Day 1 figure will only be known after official box-office estimates are released.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic marks Yash’s much-awaited return to the big screen after KGF. The film also features Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in prominent roles.

While early reviews have been divided, with some viewers criticising the screenplay and others praising the visuals, action and Yash’s screen presence, the mixed word of mouth has not stopped audiences from heading to theatres.

The biggest question now is whether Toxic can turn its massive opening-day momentum into a record-breaking run. One thing is already clear: Yash’s box-office power remains impossible to ignore.
