Fifteen-year-old cricket sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has once again grabbed the spotlight in the Duleep Trophy—not with his batting this time, but with a surprise bowling performance and a playful revelation about East Zone captain Ishan Kishan.
After scoring just 8 runs in his first innings against North East Zone, Vaibhav made a fighting comeback with the ball, taking two wickets in just four deliveries. His spell helped reduce North East Zone to 79/7 as East Zone went on to secure an innings-and-210-run victory.
“Ishan Bhaiya Didn’t Know I Was a Wicket-Taker”
Speaking about his bowling, Vaibhav revealed that captain Ishan Kishan was unaware of his wicket-taking ability. The teenage vice-captain humorously said that he loves bowling and made it clear: “I am a wicket-taker.”
